Tax Preparation Process:
- Begins at the website, (www.samarcollc.com), go to the “Getting Started” tab
- If you are a new Client, when you complete your contact information on the Website it will initiate the establishment of your SmartVault account
- Pre-Tax Preparation – Complete Engagement Letter, Tax Prep Questionnaire, Due Diligence Questionnaire (if necessary), Non-cash Contributions spreadsheet (if necessary)
- Client Tax Documents – Upload into SmartVault, or schedule an office appointment, or drop off at office, or put in US mail, or send by fax
- Tax Preparation – Tax Comparisons and Draft Tax Returns are created from Client documents, deposit or Tax Fees are due to continue to the next step
- Review Tax Preparation – By phone, Zoom, or Office visit, discuss Tax Comparisons and/or Draft Tax Returns, make necessary adjustments and corrections
- Finalize Tax Preparation – Complete Tax Returns (adjust if necessary) and obtain signatures before transmission, e-file to IRS and applicable state, provide soft copy to taxpayer(s) by placing in the SmartVault
- Preparation Refund Options – Electronic filing with check by mail or direct deposit into your bank account, or paper check by U.S. mail
- Preparation Bonus – Referral Plan of $25 per completed personal returns and $50 per completed business returns for anyone you refer to SLLC
- Final payment and signatures are required before e-filing tax returns. TAX RETURNS WILL NOT BE TRANSMITTED OR DELIVERED WITHOUT PAYMENT
- Traditional tax packet with hard copies will be provided post tax season for returns prepared during the last 4 weeks of the tax season
